COZYTIME BEST DAYCARE CENTER IN TORONTO

Parents often ask us what it is that makes Cozy Time daycare different from a regular daycare. After all, children learn to socialize and benefit from basic educational instruction in regular daycare don’t they?

Thankfully, how Cozy Time differs from regular daycare is simple. Our Montessori-inspired curriculum treats each and every child as an individual. Using everything from one on one instruction to group discussions and music, we marry a tangible sense of community with an interactive learning experience proven to stimulate better early cognitive development.

How we foster such individual development is also simple. The Montessori method for personal and educational success is unique in its ability to meet the needs of developing children. Unlike a regular daycare center or daycare, our curriculum and learning environment is designed to encourage positive cognitive, social, emotional, physical and creative stages of development.

To put things as simply as possible, we take your child’s natural desire to explore and investigate the world around them, and our educators help children learn through these daily play and investigation experiences. This is why we place a strong focus on making learning fun, socially orientated, and completely interactive.

Of course, every infant or toddler develops at their own pace in accordance with their own creative and educational interests. This is why at Cozy Time daycare, we prepare classroom environments and learning activities in mind of each child individually. The most important thing to us is that all children feel safe and genuinely enthused about learning.

Lastly, unlike with a regular daycare, we keep parents constantly updated on their child’s progress. In like regard, we always welcome parental participation in their children’s learning, as well as feedback in regard to children’s continuing development and enjoyment of their Cozy Time center experiences.

ABOUT COZY TIME MONTESSORI

OUR BEST ACTIVITIES FOR YOUR KIDS

SOCIALIZATION

At Cozy Time, we know that social-centric play time and early learning is key to better overall cognitive development.

CIRCLE TIME

To help with children's individual personal growth, we use circle time to give children a safe environment in which to discuss their feelings, personal perspectives, and new educational insights.

MUSIC

Music is literally instrumental when it comes to facilitating better academic learning, creative insights, and socialization. This is why we regularly incorporate music into learning and playtime activities.

CONSTRUCTIVE AND MANIPULATIVE PLAY

Infant and toddlers love manipulating things with their hands. Even better, constructive play is integral to both cognitive development and the fine tuning of children's coordination and motor skills.

DRAMATIC PLAY

At Cozy Time, we facilitate imaginative and dramatic play, in order for children to learn more about the wider world around them, whilst also exploring their individual creative impulses.

MONTESSORI CENTRE

Senior toddlers are automatically moved to our dedicated Montessori early learning classroom. Here, children still play but also benefit from a bespoke educational environment designed to facilitate better cognitive development.

PRACTICAL LIFE

Practical life lessons are critical to toddler development. We, therefore, help children discover the principles of good manners, while also helping them fine tune motor skills associated with activities such as dressing.

SENSORIAL

Using various creative & educational approaches, we help infant and toddler students learn how to differentiate between their senses. Doing so enhances decision-making skills, creativity, and basic spatial awareness.

COMMUNICATION

As part of our early learning program, we maintain strong communication between each parent and the educator responsible for their child's care at our academy.

OUR PROGRAMS

Nutrition

Healthy food and nutrition is vital for optimum early learning and cognitive development. This is why at Cozy Time daycare, we focus just as much on providing high-quality food at meal time, as we do an inspiring early learning environment.

When your child is in the care of our Cozy Time daycare center, they will be provided with a nutritious breakfast, hot lunch, and afternoon snack prepared by our academy cook. Even better, all meals are prepared fresh onsite using only high-quality ingredients.

What this means is that none of our baked goods contain any artificial chemicals or preservatives. In like regard, all food served at Cozy Time daycare is prepared in line with the official Canada Food Guide. Meanwhile, as well as having a 4-week rotation on all of our menu items, the Cozy Time academy menu changes to match each of the seasons. In doing so, we provide students with tasty, nutritious, and seasonally appropriate meals which they will love, regardless of their specific dietary requirements.

Our Curriculum

First developed by Dr. Maria Montessori in the early 20th century, the Montessori Method is designed to stimulate better cognitive development in children aged from birth to up to 6 years of age. However, for such early learning and direct educational stimulation to be successful, it must be partnered with a loving and individually nurturing learning environment. This is why at Cozy Time daycare, our curriculum and educational activities are designed to be fun, foster strong senses of social inclusion, and take full advantage of children’s naturally creative and imaginative nature.

What makes Cozy Time different from the average daycare or nursery, is the fact that while our academy curriculum is guided and licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Education, we always seek to surpass these guidelines. At the same time, each one of our classroom environments is divided into different early learning centers which facilitate both learning and free play simultaneously.

ABOUT US

Cozy Time Montessori Academy’s philosophy incorporates our program mission statement through the implementation of the educational philosophy and academic approach of Dr. Maria Montessori. Each child is recognized as an individual, with varying abilities, needs and interests.
